Expansion delivers increased capacity

Substantial investment in equipment, supported by a New Anglia grant, is enabling us to meet the needs of our growing customer base.

Responding to increased demand for our high-quality metal finishing services, in March 2017 we took the major step of acquiring additional production space to expand our operations.

Six months later we were delighted to secure a capital equipment grant through the New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership Small Grant Scheme. This helped us to procure vital new plant and machinery, including:

  • an additional large new paint spray booth oven and paint mixing room
  • two new forklift trucks to handle the increased workload
  • A new air compressor and large new air receiver for the new facilities.

“The New Anglia grant has played an important part in our expansion strategy. Despite operating in a competitive marketplace, we are experiencing significant growth in demand for our expert, high-quality metal finishing services. By adding extra capacity we have been able to respond confidently to this demand. We can now offer enhanced levels of service to valued existing customers such as fabricators, as well as continuing to develop productive relationships with other key stakeholders, such as architects, developers and manufacturers.”

Funded by the European Regional Development Fund, the Small Grant Scheme is part of the Business Growth Programme delivered by New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership in partnership with Nwes, Menta, Suffolk Chamber of Commerce and Suffolk County Council.
